Residents in Newtown are being urged to take part in a survey to find out what they know about local democracy in the town and the area.
Town Councillor Richard Williams is running the survey as part of a project he wants to take to colleagues on the town council on ways it can improve "communications, engagement and knowledge" of democracy.
"In order to successfully present a more rounded proposal, I am seeking the views of the public especially via a short questionnaire," said Cllr Williams.
The survey is undertaken by Cllr Williams and not the town council. He said he will use the results to help him prepare a proposal on ways to improve its communications on democracy.
