‘Beatles’, ‘Bon Jovi’ heading our way!

Montgomeryshire may be bracing itself for the coldest winter on record but its entertainment scene is set to be sizzling.

Theatr Hafren has launched its winter programme this week which will feature a diverse range of entertainment from Fireman Sam to the music of the Beatles, Buddy Holly and Bon Jovi!
And the good news for local residents is that tickets for the shows are the lowest in the country as Theatr Hafren bids to make its entertainment programme accessible to all.
“The season, as always, is a very varied programme to suit all tastes and ages from young children right through to our more mature Montgomeryshire residents,” said Theatr Hafren’s Del Thomas.
“Theatr Hafren policy is always to keep ticket prices as low as possible as we never want the price to be a barrier and would much prefer to have 550 in at £10 than 250 at £20 and, like for like, we have the lowest ticket prices of any theatre in the UK.
“The highlights for me are Birmingham Stages’ ‘Horrible Science’ (starting today). This company has been coming to us for several years now and it is always a fantastic show from ‘Georges’ Marvellous Medicine’ through to ‘Jungle Book’. This year’s show features ‘Bogglevision’ which involves wearing 3D glasses and combines live performance with amazing special effects to create a real wow factor and bring the science to life. For older residents of Montgomeryshire, we have a great 'Buddy Holly' (December 3) tribute and 'The Magic of the Beatles’ is here on December 18.”
After Christmas highlights include the Bon Jovi Experience on February 5 and Fireman Sam takes to the stage on March 26.
