Russ stars with Phill Jupitus

Newtown actor Russ Evans is to star alongside comedian Phill Jupitus on ITV1 next week in a new children's show.

Russ has spent four months filming "Bottom Knocker Street" for ITV in which he plays the character Mac who is a Manic Street Cleaner.

"In the show I play a character called Mac who is a manic Street Cleaner and a few other characters as well.

"I have been starring alongside the main actor Phill Jupitus as well as many other facntastic people," Russ told MyNewtown.

The show will be on ITV1 on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 7.55am, with the first episode on 31st August.

"The show is aimed at six to 12 year olds, but it's so funny I think it'll also appeal to older kids and adults," added Russ.
