Entertainment to beat the blues

30/01/2012 @ 09:16

Whether its rock music, stage shows, comedy or spending an evening with influential figures, Hafren has released a stunning series of events that will help to make the winter weeks go that much quicker.

Starting with the arrival of the leading Guns’N’Roses tribute act this Thursday, and culminating in the music of Pink Floyd in June, the updated calendar of events at Montgomeryshire’s leading entertainment venue pictured - oozes world-class talent.

Headline comedy slots are taken up by the popular American star of ‘Live at the Apollo’ Rich Hall (April 21) and Sony Award winning Mark Steel (March 23).

There’s plenty of family entertainment in the shape of Elmo Makes Music (April 6), Bob the Builder (March 17) and Peter and the Wolf (March 1), while entertainment for the more discerning is provided by an evening with Tony Benn (March 9) as well as an audience with Sherlock Holmes (March 15).

Oh and did we mention there are still tickets available for legendary rocker Joan Armatrading (pictured - May 25)?

There’s plenty more on offer – not forgetting the hugely popular YFC Panto competition (February 13-17) - and with tickets priced among the lowest in the country, it only takes a second to click on http://www.thehafren.co.uk/whatson.php to find out what takes your fancy.
