Club stalwart unveils plaque

Newtown Football Club marked its 1,000^th game in the top tier of Welsh Football by unveiling a plaque today.

Ahead of the JD Cymru Premier League match with Cardiff Met at Latham Park club stalwart Elwyn Morgan unveiled the plaque outside the clubhouse.

The Robins are only the second club to Have achieved 1,000 games with Aberyswyth Town also celebrating two weeks ago.
