Edinburgh Fringe show preview

Caersws will be centre stage for a comedy preview this weekend as Dolfor comedian Russ Evans brings his debut show for the Edinburgh Fringe to The Buck Hotel.

Russ' company, Planet Ramsden Productions, is its Edinburgh Fringe debut with its new comedy show 'The Smiley Show'. 'The Smiley Show' is a chat show with a difference!, according to Russ. From the cheesy host Clive Smiley through to the wonderful but deranged guests he meets on the show.

"We have already sold out shows in Wales and at the prestigious Canal Cafe Theatre in London and look forward to Edinburgh!" said Russ. "This is a massive step for us as a company and myself as a performer this is the biggest thing I have done in my eight years working professionally in the entertainment industry."

A preview of the show will be held on Sunday, 14th August The Buck Hotel, Caersws starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 each and there is additional entertainment from Birmingham stand up comedian, Stephen Dodd, who performed recently at the company's comedy night in Newtown.
