Bands to battle it out

21/07/2011 @ 01:39
Get set for a battle royal on Friday night.

Six local bands will fight it out for the right to perform at next month’s Crash Music Festival, which is set to become the live musical event of the summer.

The Festival will take place on 5 and 6 August in Abermule and features the cream of local music as well as one or two big acts from away. But for six up and coming bands, this Friday represents a shot at sharing their music with a Festival crowd on the main stage.

The Crash Battle of the Bands will be held at the Monty Club, Newtown, from 8pm with a local panel of judges needing the crowd’s help to decide the winner. Local singer, Dai Robs, who is also one of the headline acts for the festival, is comparing the night. Entry is just £3.
