TV ad comedian comes to Newtown

Multi-award winning comedian Omid Djallili, him of the Moneysupermarket.com advert fame, is coming to Theatr Hafren in Newtown in October, the theatre has confirmed.

Omid will be on stage on Thursday 13th October at 8pm. Tickets are available online but are expected to sell-out quickly. The theatre has trebled its online capacity to cope with ticket sales for major events and appearances and to allow more people a chance to get such tickets.

A favourite at the Edinburgh Festival with his performances, Omid's stand-up awards include 'Time Out Award' - for Best Stand Up, the ‘EMMA Award' and was  ‘South Bank Award' nominee as well as being a ‘Perrier Award' nominee.

Omid was the winner of the "Best Actor" Award for his lead performance in The Infidel at the Turin Film Festival. The Infidel also picked up a Loaded LAFTA award for "Funniest film" and Omid was short listed for "Peter Sellers Award."
