Something to "choo" on

One of our favourite attractions is serving up another Festive Treat that gives us all something to ‘choo choo’ on between Christmas and New Year.

The Welshpool and Llanfair Railway is running Mince Pie Specials for three days in late December, keeping the festive feeling running through to New Year’s Eve.

“We are running on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th December,” said a spokesperson. “The cost is a very reasonable £9 for adults and £4 for children, which includes, of course complimentary mince pies!”

Train times are 11am, 12.45pm and 2.30pm, leaving from Llanfair Caereinion and travelling to Castle Caereinion and back.
