Montgomeryshire has never known a year like it for comedy, and the temporary closure of its biggest venue looks like merely being a summer chance to rest your ribs!
Theatr Hafren will undergo a major renovation programme this summer, ending a tremendous spring programme which has seen comedy a-listers like Lee Evans and Alan Carr bring the roof down.
And it appears that the autumn programme is shaping up to be just as impressive, with top new comical geniuses like Andy Parsons (right) and Tom Stade confirmed along with Welsh legand Max Boyce who has just added a second date to the one that sold out in days for September!
“We are committed to providing a massive variety of entertainment to Mid Wales in all genres and to bring such high profile comedians is the icing on the cake,” said a Theatr Hafren spokeswoman.
