Auction at Montgomery Town Hall

An outstanding auction is being held at Montgomery Town Hall by Harry Ray & Co estate agents, auctioneers and valuers.

The auction, which is being held on Wednesday, April 17 contains a selection of superb furniture and effects, pictures, books, silver, collectables and even a Montgomeryshire Yeomanry helmet.

Highlights include a Victorian Ebonised Credenza with ormolu mouldings and mounts with inlay detail and Wedgewood plaques and a Gillows ladies writing desk.

Plenty of attention is also expected for a Victorian inlaid and mirror backed sideboard, an antique pine kitchen piece and a Bracket mantle clock by Winterholder and Hoffmeir.

Other items to be auctioned include glass, brass, copper plated ware and china along with cameras and accessories, gold, silver, jewellery and coins, pictures, prints, books, linen and many miscellaneous items.

The sale on April 17 starts at 10am with viewing on Tuesday between 2pm and 4-45pm and at 9am on the morning of the sale.
