Getting spooky on the railway

Things are about to get really spooky on the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway. 

On Saturday, October 27th Llanfair Station and an engine will be spookily decorated and the last train will return to Llanfair in eerie dusk as part of the Halloween celebrations.

Go along in costume as there will be prizes for the most imaginative or the one that makes the station master jump out of his skin.

“We can’t be certain all of our passengers will be human,” said a spokesman. “See if you can spot something creepy in the shadows or haunted look on the faces of the tearoom staff.”

Normal fares apply for this and the other trains running over half term.
