Carers pampered by students

Students from Coleg Powys in Newtown have given up their time to help pamper carers recently.

The students from the Hair and Beauty Department treated the ladies to haircuts, make-up and manicure treatments throughout the day. "Lunch was provided by the Catering and Hospitality Section and was thoroughly enjoyed by all the ladies. They all agreed that the day made such a change for them as many are unable to go out as they care for relatives at home," said a college spokesperson.
