A celebration of James' life to be held

A celebration of the life of James Corfield is to be held in Montgomery, his family have said.

James, who passed away tragically two weeks ago during the Royal Welsh Show, will be remembered at a “celebration of James’ life” on 18 August at Montgomery Cricket Club, his brother Tom announced on social media.

“As a family we have decided for a celebration of James life at Montgomery cricket club on the 18th of August at 2pm. Please wear a touch of blue. Everyone is welcome to join us for cricket teas. Please share to spread the word. Thanks,” he said.

Last Saturday his club and cricket clubs throughout Montgomeryshire and Shropshire held a minute’s applause in his memory.
