Fire station fun day this weekend

Firefighters at Newtown Fire Station will be opening the doors to the public this weekend when they host their annual open day.

Fire and rescue vehicles, equipment and demonstrations will be carried out by the retained firefighters and officers from the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service from 10am until 2pm on Saturday at the PoolRoad site.

The service will also be putting on entertainment as well as informing visitors with some fire safety tips.
