Have your say on Cambrian Railway services

18/04/2017 @ 09:56

Rail users in Newtown are being urged to give their opinion on the Cambrian Railway services at a meeting next week.

The Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth Railway Liaison Committee is to hold a “focus group” meeting next Monday when users can provide their comments on the services running along the railway which passes through Caersws and Newtown.

“Following on from the surveys conducted in 2013 and 2015, The Shrewsbury Aberystwyth Rail Liaison Committee is once more asking for your views on the service. The surveys are commissioned by the Cambrian Railways Partnership making use of funds made available by the Welsh Government,” said a spokesperson for the group.

“During April the committee will be conducting short surveys on a number of trains, and also inviting all users to attend focus groups in the major towns of the Cambrian Lines.

A focus group will be held in Newtown on Monday, 24 April at the Elephant and Castle Hotel, Newtown, at 7pm.
