The future looks bright for football in Newtown after the town’s Robins U12 team clinched a league and cup double at the weekend.
Newtown Robins beat Welshpool Toffees 5 - 0 in the final at Abermule with goals scored by Xavier Matisse, Drew Cook and a hat-trick from Dray Rodgers.
