New partner appointed at Norman Lloyd

A new partner has been appointed at Norman Lloyd, which has offices in Newtown, Llanidloes and Welshpool.

David Jones, who now lives in Forden and is a former Head Boy at Welshpool High School, has worked at the chartered surveyors and estate agent since 2000 to work alongside studying for a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management through Birmingham University. 

During this time he was accredited as a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents. On completion of his degree he subsequently qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2009 and is now an R.I.C.S. Registered Valuer.

He has been actively involved in the firm’s Estate Agency side of the business for a number of years now along with undertaking professional practice work including Homebuyer’s surveys, valuations for Probate purposes and secured lending in addition to acting as expert witness in matrimonial proceedings.

David also provides market appraisals for sale and letting of property and manages country estates in the Mid Wales region.

The firm said it prides itself in providing a professional yet friendly service in dealing with matters in the residential, agricultural and commercial fields throughout Mid and North Wales to the Shropshire borders.

David will join partners Chris Sheppard, Jonathan Evans and Glandon Lewis.
Norman Lloyd are also partners in Welshpool Livestock Sales which is the long established main auction outlet for livestock in Mid Wales and the borders and is reputed to be the largest Prime Lamb market in Western Europe.

The firm are also partners in Oswestry Livestock Auctions.
