Businesses in Newtown can now access a range of funding, support and regeneration information in one place, thanks to a new website launched by Powys County Council.
The Grow in Powys website has been introduced by the regeneration team at the council to provide a information in one easily accessible place that is relevant to businesses, the tourism sector, communities and job seekers in the county.
Information on the site includes: - For businesses: business rate relief, town centre loan scheme, broadband, local growth zones, training courses, business units, council properties for sale/lease - For communities: grants, village halls, community hubs, asset transfers - For tourism sector: visitor information services, research, destination management and Mid Wales My Way activities

Cllr Avril York, Powys County Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, said: “We are pleased to launch this new site. It not only provides information that we hope is very useful, but also outlines how the council could help you.
“We want to encourage strong and vibrant communities and provide support to grow businesses in Powys. This new website is just one way we are trying to support this.”
