A solicitor at an expanding Newtown legal firm has been promoted.
Claire Jenkins, who specialises in conveyancing work, has been made an associate at Wace Morgan Tomleys Solicitors, which has offices in Market Street.
Claire, from Berriew, joined the firm in 2007 having completed her degree in law and business management at Keele University and commenced her training contract later that year.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and initially carried out work in a broad range of areas, moving on two years later to become more specialised in property work, dealing in both residential and commercial sectors acting for clients all over the country.
A member of both Newtown Rotary Club and Montgomeryshire Young Professionals Group, Claire commented: “I am very pleased to have been made an associate at Wace Morgan Tomleys Solicitors.
“I particularly specialise in commercial and residential conveyancing work and enjoy being part of a strong and expanding team here.”
Diana Packwood, managing partner of Wace Morgan Tomleys, which is one of the longest-established legal practices in the region, congratulated Claire.
