Plant Sales Executive

We are seeking a forward-thinking individual, who is able to work in a cross-functional manner and be responsible for daily management of customer accounts. The role will include forecasting, demand management, processing of orders, and responding to enquiries on a range of industry-leading products and services.

Main Tasks 

Managing all customer requirements and specifically responsible for the Order-to-Cash flow

Close cooperation with the customer in terms of delivery time of all materials and information necessary to produce orders on time and in full

Review the requirements proposed by the customers (forecasting)

Close cooperation with Production Planning on lead times, deadlines affecting orders, and with the other departments involved in the meeting customer requirements

Preparation of order confirmations

Supervision and monitoring of orders (demands) from customers

Correspondence with customers regarding complaints

Outsourcing transport services at the request of customers and preparing disposals of loadings for the Logistics Department

Informing customers about the readiness of the goods for pick up/shipment and fixing the date of receipt

Sales and invoicing, and transfer of complete sales documents to the Finance Department

Close cooperation with the Finance Department in terms of receivables

Customer visits with External Sales (e.g. quarterly business reviews) to build long term relationship with customers

Promoting products, particularly new technical and production capabilities, to customers

Participation in the preparation of reports and statements concerning the company's and/or customer’s activities

Stock level of FG and aged stock monitoring

Key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring

Timely and accurate management of documentation related to Plant Sales activities and duties ensuring smooth information flow

Direct supervision and control of document flow

Fulfilling daily/weekly/monthly Plant Sales duties

Other duties related to the employee's position established between the Employee and the Employee during the term of the employment contract
Personal Characteristics: 

Experience of working in a busy administrative role within a manufacturing organisation that ideally involves order processing and/or invoicing

Excellent attention to detail and accurate data processing abilities 

Strong computer skills with experience of using SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 

A real team player with the ability to build rapport with co-workers at all levels

Excellent telephone manner and organisation skills are also required

In addition to the main role, any employee is expected to be flexible with regards to other tasks that may be delegated from time to time.  It is expected that any employee will conform to any reasonable management request.
