Lowfield Timber Frames Ltd is one of the leading local timber frame manufacturers and erectors in the area; providing kits for residential developments nationwide.  Our small but friendly team based at our offices set in the rural strip midway between Shrewsbury and Welshpool; have successfully expanded the company, year on year to create the following exciting opportunity.                  

Office/Sales Administrator 

A position has become available for someone either starting out on the career ladder looking for a full-time role or someone looking to get back into work on a part time basis.

Whilst no experience is necessary, the successful applicant will be self-motivated, confident, computer literate, well organised and not afraid to ask questions.  The main role will involve administrating the sale enquiries, booking in projects to quote and producing job files for the estimating department. 

Depending on the applicant’s desire, there may also be the possibility to expand this role into a trainee Estimator. Working alongside the Senior Estimator, full training can be provided. The role will involve interpreting architect’s plans, scheduling a timber frame solution and providing quotations to the customers. Above all, the successful applicant would benefit from either keen computer skills, particularly in MS Excel; or relevant experience in the construction industry.  The successful candidate will be meticulous, methodical and have a head for figures.
