More awards for McCartneys

McCartneys estate agents with branches in Newtown, Welshpool and 11 other sites across Mid Wales, Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, is seeing out 2018 with yet more award wins.

The company picked up gold and bronze awards at The Negotiator Awards in London, seen as the Oscars of residential and commercial property.

The Gold award was given to them as Best Estate Agents in Wales, beating off stiff competition from businesses right across the country; while they also picked up a Bronze award for Best Estate Agents in the East and West Midlands.

These latest accolades top off a multi award winning few months for the company, who were named Best Professional Services Business in the Midlands at the Amazon Rural Business Awards in October and scooped the award for Excellence in Leadership and Management at the Powys Business Awards in September.

Tom Carter, Chairman of McCartneys Property Department said: “It been quite a year for the business.  Alongside these awards, three of our branches were also named the best in their area by the British Property Awards.  

“It’s a real reflection of the dedication and commitment of our staff throughout the business, and we couldn’t be happier flying the flag for local business in Mid Wales at national award ceremonies.”

McCartneys has been in business since 1874,  employing more than 175 people. It has a number of departments serving the property and agricultural sectors of the region.
