Tom Carter is new McCartneys chairman

Tom Carter has been appointed as the new Chairman of McCartneys Property department.

He succeeds Debbie Anderson, who has been chairman since 2011. She is stepping down to concentrate on front line sales at the company’s Ludlow office.

Tom becomes property chairman having joined McCartneys in 2005 as office manager in Newtown. He joined the partnership in 2010 and went on to open the extremely successful Welshpool office in 2011.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to Debbie for all her hard work as Property Chairman over the last seven or so years, “said Tom. “I am extremely proud and honoured to be taking up the role and I look forward to both continuing my estate agency work throughout Mid Wales and spending more time in all of

our offices driving the department forward as a whole.

“McCartneys property department is an extremely important part of our business, our 16 property offices make us the largest independent estate agent in the area and we have lots of exciting projects coming together this year to keep us at the forefront of the industry.”
