Newtown-based Mid Wales Housing and local electrical contractor EOM have announced a partnership agreement.

The agreement will see EOM provide maintenance work on the housing association's property portfolio.

Graham Jones, Director of EOM said: “For some time, we have been discussing with Mid-Wales Housing  how we might work more closely together, and have concluded that the best way we can continue to provide a great service to all of our customers, and grow both businesses, is by forming a formal partnership”.

“Reliability is what we have built our business on and that is what we want to make sure we can continue to do in the future”.

Shane Perkins, Chief Executive of Mid-Wales Housing Association, confirmed a broad agreement had been reached, but that considerably more work is still required.  He said: “We are committed to supporting local employment and the local economy, and are delighted that this partnership will enable us to invest in growing EOM into a bigger company, employing yet more skilled trades people.

“This, in turn, will improve the service we can provide to our tenants, whilst continuing to provide all of EOM’s customers with the great service that they have come to expect.”
