06/03/2016 @ 05:32
The sale of a village pub near Newtown to a private buyer has been agreed by agents Halls Commercial on behalf of the owners Admiral Taverns.
The Waterloo Arms, Abermule, which was on the market for £100,000, is prominently situated in the village, which is located between the towns of Newtown, Welshpool and Montgomery.
The three storey property has a bar, dining area, kitchen and ancillary accommodation on the ground floor with a beer terrace to the rear. The upper floors provide a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and three bedrooms. To the rear of the property there are two car parking spaces.
James Evans, manager of Halls Commercial’s Shrewsbury office, said there was a need for more licensed premises to sell to satisfy the demand from prospective purchasers.
For more information contact either Mr Evans or Rebecca Welch at Halls Commercial on Tel: 01743 450700.
